Stephanie LoConte, BSN, RN, CCRN, is Truxtun’s Director of Operations & Participant Safety, where she oversees the operational and safety systems supporting participants throughout the Truxtun experience.

Stephanie earned her nursing degree from Fairfield University and built her career in high-acuity critical care. Her experience includes working at a Level I trauma center in Colorado Springs, caring for critically ill patients in a COVID ICU in Huntsville, and most recently serving as an ICU nurse at Penn Medicine. Years spent managing complex patients in unpredictable, high-stakes environments shaped the judgment, composure, and attention to detail she now brings to Truxtun.

At Truxtun, Stephanie oversees the participant journey from initial intake through preparation, retreat, and integration. She coordinates medical screening with the clinical team, manages participant readiness and retreat operations, and develops the safety protocols and operating standards that allow Truxtun to deliver each cohort responsibly and consistently.

Alongside CJ, Stephanie also co-founded the Truxtun Foundation, which helps veterans transition from military service into graduate education and build lasting community after leaving the military.
